Insurance Coverage Checkup

Seven questions on health, income, life, car, home and paperwork. Find the open side of your foundation before something tests it.

Seven questions, about two minutes. No score kept.

01Do you have health insurance right now?
02If you had to pay your health plan's full deductible this month, where would the money come from?

The deductible is what you pay before the plan starts paying. On many plans it is thousands of dollars.

03If an injury or illness kept you off work for six months, what would replace your paycheck?
04Does anyone depend on your income — a partner, kids, a parent you help? If so, is there life insurance that would replace it for years, not months?
05Your car insurance — do you know your liability limits, and are they above what your state requires?

Liability is the part that pays for other people's injuries and property when a crash is your fault.

06Where you live — are your things, and your liability if someone is hurt there, insured?
07Are the beneficiaries on your accounts and policies up to date, and do you have a will or at least the basics written down?

This is a checkup to help you think — educational coaching, not personalized legal, tax, insurance or investment advice. Your answers stay on this device.

Insurance is the part of money most people have without ever choosing it — a plan from work, a car policy from years ago, a beneficiary form from a job you left. This checkup asks seven questions about the places a working household actually gets hurt: a hospital bill, a paycheck that stops, a crash, a fire, a form with the wrong name on it.

You get a plain read on where you stand and, for anything that came up short, the one move that closes it. Nothing here is a sales pitch — MoneyBricks sells no insurance and earns nothing if you buy some.

Common questions

  • Which insurance matters most if I can only afford one thing?

Health insurance, then whatever protects your paycheck. A medical bill is the most common way a working household ends up in debt it didn't choose, and a paycheck that stops is the second. Life insurance matters once someone depends on your income; liability limits matter the day you're in a crash. The quiz orders your own gaps that way.

  • Does MoneyBricks sell insurance or get paid to recommend it?

No. MoneyBricks sells a subscription to coaching and nothing else — no policies, no referrals, no commissions. That's part of the Trust Contract on the homepage. The moves here point you at your employer's benefits, the public marketplace and the bricks that explain the terms.

  • Is this a substitute for talking to someone?

No. It's a checkup, and it's honest about being one: it can tell you which side of your coverage is open, not what policy to buy. For your own numbers, your HR benefits team, the marketplace, or a fee-only advisor can walk through the specifics. This is educational coaching, not personalized insurance advice.
